The Tribal Epidemiology Centers Program develops Epidemiology Centers for ongoing disease surveillance and public health infrastructure for American Indian and Alaska Native communities. NIMHD issued a funding opportunity announcement, the Collaborative Minority Health, and Health Disparities Research with Tribal Epidemiology Centers (R01 and R21 Clinical Trials Not Allowed).PAR-17-484andPAR-17-48. In addition, in 2022 NIMHD with support from the NIH Office of Data Science Strategy (ODSS) established a Resource Center for Tribal Epidemiology Centers (RC-TEC). |
